That's the only way to be. Sucks that you have no choice, tho.
Who would've ever thought? Well, anyone would - save you, that is. It's not that you were too naive; you were too trusting. Trusting in the happiness you felt, and in the friendship that you thought was there. But you were the only one who saw it; and poor child, you believed in it, too.
Now the covers are blown and the jig is up, you don't know where to go. You're in it too deep and you're small enough to drown. There isn't anyone who can save you but yourself. Because at the end of the day, it takes a lot of self-restraint to manage.
Have you never learned? That "When it's been good for so long, it's bad." Because something as huge as this happens and your whole world stops to crash and burn. And you're left there to contemplate the things that transpired and you realize it's too late for anything.
