The problem with having too many friends

The problem with having too many friends is that somewhere in the middle of it all, someone loses touch. Someone eventually leaves and you don't know why. But I know why; because at one point or the other, I was that friend who lost touch and left.

It's unfair to forget old friends because you have new ones, yes. But it's normal. Sad truth is, the reason you forget old ones is because you have more fun with the new ones and you end up spending more time with them. No friendship lasts forever; except those built with family members. It hurts when you're on the receiving end and there was no conflict before the fall out. What can you do? Nothing. Most things that hurt you, you can do nothing about.

You can never ask someone to prefer your company over the others. The only way you can make them to choose to stay is to make them feel things they never feel with other people.
