I haven`t blogged for a while . Just wanna let things out again . :)
Today was the scheduled monthly mass for the Catholic students and teach's at school. So as accustomed to, we, non-Catholics would stay at school and have some reflections of our own. But then, one of our classmates who was also a non-Catholic was also one of the participants for the Mind Challenge (the SS or AP inter-school quiz bee which our school confidently joined) and they need to review. So he asked us (my two friends and moi) to come with him upstairs and help him to review. Wanting to be excused from what we were supposed to do, we gladly said yes to him. When we got upstairs, the other participants were already there. And I saw a cute boy at about his primary years of studying and I decided to seat beside him for a while. I knew him pala after all. He was one of the kids I taught a dance to. And he remembered me, too. He was talking with his friends who were also-as I came to know later- grade two students and I happened to join in be one of the persons he was talking to already. And the summary of what he had said was, he wants a gold house in the future, to be a zillionaire, furnitures made of pure gold, and ten vintage cars. Idk what`s wrong with that dream, actually. But I think that many kids think like that too. What do I mean by that? Maybe, a little too high. Oh come on. Be honest. Is that really possible? Naaaaaaaahhhhh. But kids, being oh-so-innocent and fun-loving, want things more than what we older people know can be reality. And I think, people who do nothing but laze around and do nothing to achieve their dreams would never achieve what they crave for, really. But if you do the best you can, give everything a good try and just enjoy, I think we can achieve anything. :)
Tyra Banks once said, "It's not about the intention but the action." :)
So go on, strive hard. Even if you know the dream's too high, tip-toe to the top . :)
