break away from tradition .

As you all know, today is October 31 . Tomorrow is All Saints` Day . But most people prefer to call it "Halloween". And according to tradition, halloween is a holiday for ghouls, ghosts, and witches a like. It`s the holiday most children avoid and are afraid of.

As routinirary as ever, I got up this morning and immediately reached for the remote control of the television. When the television boomed to life, it was tuned in to a channel that showcased a talk show. And the talk show, riding in the train of the festivities, was all about "halloween" and about ghosts showin` up and making what they call as "paramdam". The talk show was hardly scary. Instead, it brought me laughs . L.O.L. `Coz, idk, halloween`s not that scary anymore. Maybe, when I was a kid, it was, and halloween specials never fail to spook me out of my sanity. But now that I know more and is completely and utterly sane, halloween`s nothing but just another holiday that will pass by oh-so-quickly. When my mom got home, I still was watching the stoo-peed talkshow . And shortly after, it was over. So I decided to tune in to another channel. I found one very interesting and was a channel for movies. The train of the festivities reached the channel and oh-so-expectedly, it was showing a scary movie which I had watched for too many times now. But I decided to watch it again- just for the heck of it. The movie was "Feng Shui" . The one about Kris Aquino and the bagua and some lotus feet char. I admit, it was pretty (no, scary isn`t the word) surprising . *laughs* `Coz the dead people just kept showin` up . (haha . i knooow. they`re supposed to do that to scare people off .) And later did I know that the movie was part of some scary movie marathon the channel was showing. And I didn`t watch the next one. Idk. I turned on the laptop instead.

I want this Halloween to be different. I want to make it an April Fool`s Day instead of a Day for Ghosts. *laughs* So watch out, I might be behind you right now . *insert creepy owl sounds, screams, and bass here.*

PS: My cousin`s screaming right now `coz of the movie she`s watching from the same movie channel I blogged about. *laughs*
