a victory well deserved and much awaited for.

Warning : Beforehand, NO OFFENSE people .!

Okay. So maybe the following words your eyes would read and see in this blog post would be biased. But sorry, I just can`t help it. There`s some good things in here naman ee . Very few nga lang . Ha ha! So anyways, today at school, there was no instance that I haven`t heard from a Harrellian either the name of the Archers or the Eagles. Even when I was passing the corridors, from earshot, I had heard of bets being placed on both sides. I didn`t know that it was that big a deal. For me, I didn`t care who their opponent was. All that I cared about was that the Eagles went in the finals and they are going to win the championship. Ha ha! And when `twas dismissal time, I was in a hurry to go home. The game would start at 4:30pm . Our dismissal time was 4pm. So okay, when I got home, the awarding for `tis season of UAAP was already finsihed . *sniffs* I hadn`t seen who was the MVP for this season. But, no matter, the game was more important than whosoever was the MVP. Then the introduction of the first five from both teams started shortly after I had completely mourned over my late-ness for the awardings. MY husband CHRiS TiU ( no more nicknames needed here . ha ha!) was included in the starting line-up of the Eagles. I was sooo proud. Anyways, I hadn't been paying much attention to the game, actually. I wish that the Basketball gods would forgive me! I was too busy chatting, I think. And up to the third quarter, I hadn't notice that for the past two quarters, the Eagles are leading. *claps* At the start of the second half, I started to pay more attention. I had easily concluded that we are really going to win! GO, ATENEO, GO, GO, GO! During the fourth quarter, I already felt the tension building up. `Coz the fight was already getting close. I admit, the Archers were keeping up score, fast! But it was already down to the last 2 minutes of the game when the gap of the score started to get big again. 30.4 seconds reamining and the Archers still managed to score a basket. Only two points. And when the Eagles had finally got hold of the ball, they never let it go! And *insert buzzer here* time`s up!!! ATENEO WON!!! I was soooo very, very, very, happy! ( I don't care if my last sentence was redundant.!! That`s how I really feel naman kasi talaga) I waited for the victory moments of the Eagles pa. And the announcement of the Best Player of the Game. *insert drumrole, please* CHRiS TiU!!! Well, he deserves it! He scored double figures on this game avenging his last game`s score which was only 2 points. *sniffs* He had already scored 13 points only on the Second Quarter- 9 coming just from the Second Quarter- and as the game preceeded, I know that he had scored more. And being the most handsome player on the court, he really, really, really DESERVES it. And as for the team, it`s their first championship again after winning in 2002. And all throughout the season, they had a very good record. 15 wins against only 1 lose .! They practiced hard and worked twice as hard to do what they had practiced on the actual game. So, that`s it. Congratulations to all Eagles out there. And to the Archers, good game. *smiles*
