abstract ,, contentment && geometry

Three things .. What do they have in common ?? .. At first glance ,, you can't really see the connection , right ? Well ,, today ,, earlier I mean ,, I realized what they have in common ..

Abstract (according to wiktionary.com) - from Latin [abstractus]

- something that concentrates in itself the qualities of something else ..

- in my own opinion ,, an abstract is something out of ordinary .. Something you'll not usually see in the crowd ..

Contentment (same source) -satisfaction

- I think that's also my definition of it .. haha ! ..

Geometry (still same source) - the branch of Mathematics dealing with spatial relationships ..

Still don't get the connection ?? Well ,, here's the true story .. In our Geometry class earlier ,, we tackled about polygons .. To our surprise ,, our teacher told us to make an abstract piece of work using polygons .. [Connected right ?? .. I want to make sure your following .. *winks*] Being "industrious" students ,, we followed our teach and worked as we were supposed to .. During those times ,, everyone was serious ,, minding their own works and SILENCE ! .. As you all know ,, SILENCE brings about thinking .. And it's inevitable that many different thoughts come in to your mind .. Being a typical student ,, as I was working silently [ I know .. I vaught the SILENCe bug as well ..] there came a thought to me .. A realization actually .. As people ,, we have different views in life ,, different perspectives ,, goals ,, ideas ,, etc ,, etc. Like abstracts ,, there's no pattern .. Although some of the shapes might look alike ,, they're still different in a small way .. And everyone of us has their own lives .. And NO ,, I mean NO life is perfect .. Like an abstract ,, no perfect pattern .. No perfect shape .. And still like an abstract ,, it looks good eventhough how special ,, how different ,, or how unusual it maybe .. It depends on how you look at it .. And your appreciation for it .. Satisfaction comes in when you like what you see [in abstract] .. But in life ,, people can't learn to be content .. That's one thing people don't have .. CONTENTMENT .. We always want ,, crave ,, aspire for more .. In the end ,, some of us are contented with some of what we have ,, some are not .. ABSTRACT .. Different opinions ,, views ,, and outlooks in life .. Therefore ,, circular reasoning .. Another thing I learned in Geometry class .. So it just means that ,, life is an undefined term .. No matter how many times you try to define the word life ,, you still arrive at the same answer ,, LIFE ..

Now do you get the connection ?? .. "Our lives are abstract because no life is perfect .. It's upon one's contentment .. But humans don't have contentment .." Circular reasoning .. Oh ! .. The things I learn in Geometry class .. *smiles*
